1. I need to know if the following room type is available: Kilimanjaro Club Level with Concierge Service - Standard Room with a queen and bunk beds, HANDICAP with higher commode with hand rails, extra tub handrails with a tub.

The only handicap rooms at the AKL that I have seen or seen pictures of had king-size beds. These rooms did not have tubs, just roll-in showers.

....I don't believe that handicap rooms have queens in them - just king beds... and I'm DEFINITELY thinking NO BUNKS....

Semi handicap which I need does exist with handrails around the commode/tub, but it had a queen and a pull-out, or is that a king with the pull-out... Okay, I took a picture of the bathroom, and this was on the CL floor, so if they have this, I really need to know if they have the bunk-beds... UGH! I want to book, but I can't get an answer from Disney!! Well Kimmar, I guess you have to be good to get the pin, but I will pick it up!

And since commodes are boring....

This was our bed size and we had a pull out next to it....

So has anyone been in an room like this with bunks??

My next question is if they can only provide the pull-out can they expect a 16 and 18 yo sibling to sleep in it together?

I so want to book, and the week after Thanksgiving isn't going to work, so the week before Christmas looks to be the magic time. I am going to pay D.S. for taking time off from school. Okay, I can't believe I admitted that, but hey, I'll do whatever I have to! Now wonder how DH is gonna feel when I request the time off without him knowing?

This morning I called to add DELUXE dining plan to my AKL-Jambo Deluxe Studio stay... Is there no end?! It's as if, if I'm not vacationplanning/ tweeking, I don't know what to do with myself.

Okay, so I got notification back that the room I would be booking is a king only, but as usual the person I am working with is not available until Monday. I am still trying to figure out where I am suppose to put the kids?? Yuck, this sucks!

Three nights (which I've stretched into 4 days). Well... I got everything I wanted (except Tusker House breakfast with Donald) but all at the wrong times, so I just had to flip flop my itinerary around for two days.

Le Chefs de France (lunch on arrival day 6/2); Jiko (dinner on 6/3); Kona (breakfast 6/4) and Tony's (dinner 6/4); CS meals at (1) World Showcase, (1) Mara, (1) Wolfgang Puck Express, and (1) Earl of Sandwich. Which adds up to 9 dining credits, per person, for the duration of the trip. Whew.

So Thanksgiving is off for this year BUT, DD is out of school on the 18th. of December, DS can be paid off easily to change his mind. DH is TOTALLY against it, but every year I ask his boss of for a surprise bday trip and he always gives it to me, (DH bday is in July), so if they can have Christmas in July, we can do Birthday in December, plus DD's bday is then also.

I guess I will just book it, take the time off from his work and well, I know he will be just like a little kid when we get there.

New plans, since I am paying for part of the reservation, I picked weekday (cheaper). So I was thinking of Dec 18 - Dec 26. That means I would pay 5 nights. Not too bad. I have been a code magnet lately, and I would actually go to Mass on vacation if I get the 40% off code. We would do the dining plan from the 18th - 23rd, then I would pay OOP for the rest, or (I have some math to do), during our August trip, I upgrade DH and my ticket to an annual pass. This then gives me ammunition to book even more for next year because DH hates to waste stuff.

So would you do these days?

We are supposed to go to IoA in July, but now DH is backing down because of the price I might have to have the kids keep bugging him until he gives in.
