Reading through another post (on this board) has me wondering.
Is it against the rules (or against the norm of a civilized population) to have one family member hold a place in line for another family member?
I hate it in the grocery store, when someone with very few groceries, is joined by family members, each adding many more groceries, as they get close to the front of the line.
I remember being very irritated, in DisneyLand, when one person claimed to be holding maybe a hundred seats (a large front row area) for her girl scouts, to see Fantasimic.
It doesn't bother me, if one or two people join a person or group in line.
So I am wondering, how many spaces, is it o.k. to hold for someone.
If I leave the line to use the bathroom, is it o.k. to re-join my group in line.
What is considered civilized, and what is within the rules?
