Day 6 Thursday, November 18, 2005 At Sea
Happy 76th Birthday Mickey Mouse!
I had decided before going to bed that I needed to take my usual vacation sunrise pictures and that I had been a little lazy this trip in regards to getting up early. Soooooo, since sunrise was at 6:48 a.m. I did get up and take a few pictures another plug for a verandah - and it was beautiful. The constantly changing colors of the sky and sea were amazing. The down side was that the ship was REALLY rocking the swells were reported at 13-20 feet! I slept for a little while and then got up at 8:00 for my room service coffee; and slept a little more! We then went to Parrot Cay for our Character Breakfast at 9:45. It was DH, chichihoney and I at the table as Hannosmom, DH and Dsis decided to skip the characters. It actually was fun seeing the characters up close and posing for pictures with the kids. There are MANY opportunities onboard to see the characters every day but this was a chance to do it from the comfort of your own table. On chichihoneys advice, I ordered a Mickey Waffle which was quite adorable.
Afterwards I went to House_Of_Princesses
for a visit (DH went to read on deck 9) she had a lovely buffet and punch set up for us. Hannosmom DH came by and I took a funny picture of him pouring the punch from a very un-elegant pitcher/cow milking thingy provided by DCL. We talked about our dinner at PALO that evening and how much we all were looking forward to it. I gave my digital cards from my camera to Hannosmoms DH who downloaded them onto special Magic CDs how cool ! I then met up with DH around 2:00 and we lounged around on Deck 9 for most of the afternoon. We had a late lunch from Plutos and returned to our cabin around 5.
I added some sunset pictures to my sunrises
of this morning. I did some onboard shopping and then even though I had GOOD intentions, we took a nap 
instead of going to see Disney Dreams. We got up and got ready for our 9:00 p.m. PALO dinner hosted by House_Of_Princesses including the 32nd anniversary 
couple Hannosmom and DH and DSis, KY John and Susan, PoohJen and DH and DH and I. Cjsmom97 and DH were unable to make it. We were in the PALO private room with a beautiful tile mural on the wall. Our server was the famous Sasha and he lived up to his reputation. I enjoyed a Lemoncello Martini 
, as did a few others. Sasha made many good suggestions and brought us a variety of appetizers and specialty pizzas. Each item we tasted was better then the one before! We never felt rushed and the service was impeccable! And we laughed and laughed and had a wonderful time. It is hard to believe we all just met in person a few days before 
. Many ordered the Lobster Tails and were not disappointed - and of course the fabulous desserts. Yummy!
We were practically escorted out at 11:30 (they really DIDN'T rush us at all!) and then DH and I did a walk by of the dessert buffet at Lumieres. My camera wouldnt work (it needed to be reset) so DH and I called it a night
