Just happened to me going to the Funny Meme thread.

I have some dark blue box that says default main and contact us, help etc. I think they have an issue somewhere. I don't get any split screens though. I am on a desk top too. I have ad blocker and see no ads, just that dark blue box that goes from the top of the screen to the bottom and is about 4 1/2" wide. I am going to check the tech board,, and then let a webmaster know about it.

Yep, me too-it just happened. I'm on a desktop, and there's an ad for a quote from dreams Unlimited taking up one half of the page. I have AdBlockPlus, so I don't know why I'm seeing it at all.

Mine was fine earlier but now there is a huge blue bar taking up nearly 1/4 of the screen. I think this also happened recently where some ad normally showing at the bottom of the page has been formatted incorrectly.

Wonky here on my laptop. Only certain threads. It is odd. This is one of those threads!

About 1/4 of the page on the right is navy blue, at the top it says, "default main". And on slo's poll of the day my reply was centered.

I think they're playing with how much and what space is taken up with ads. Currently on my tablet on this thread, the thread takes up ~60-70% of the screen (from the left) and a column presumably for ads is taking up the remainder. I've seen that split 50/50, and even occasionally 25/75.

I saw this earlier today, thought it was my phone. Was just on the resorts board, it was fine. Came to community board & opened this thread first. Page 1, screwed up with the blue bar on the right. Flipped to page 2, perfectly normal.

It seems that the discussion boards have followed Disney into the "all we care about is money" syndrome. The number of advertisements have massively increased and made following threads a challenge and, for me at least, caused enjoying participation declining enjoyment levels. If the purpose of advertising on the boards to to gain exposure, it is being done in such a way that the confusion of sight focus has made that exposure actually decline. To much of a good (?) thing. Also that centering thing is out of place.
