Is it me, or is MGM really lame?

I love MgM, it's one of my favorites and generally we go every year. I enjoy the shows and the rides. It is a slower pace than the other parks, but I've long grown out of the need to go running from attraction to attraction, so mgm works for me.

MGM used to by one of my favorite parks but that was due to my favorite attrraction, Who Wants to be a Millionaire-Play It. Without that attraction, MGM does not have much to offer.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Sorry, didn't mean to yell.

My family LOVES MGM Studios! Of course, we love movies. We love the backlot tour with the submarine filming and the explosions. We love Indiana Jones and Muppetvision! I love eating dinner at the Hollywood and Vine buffet for the Fantasmic dinner package! The Great Movie Ride is so much fun! Two of the fastest, most terrifying rides at WDW are the Rockin' Roller Coaster with Aerosmith and ToT! Are you kidding me? We adore all the tv/movie characters. Omigosh, how about Lightning and Mater from Cars and the Toy Story characters and the green army men and Mike & Sully? Geez! I guess you don't like the Blues Brothers show or the Streets and San guys making everyone break up with laughter? The Walt Disney tribute is amazing and brings a tear to my eye. Star Tours? The Voyage of the Little Mermaid? If you've got little kids, then Playhouse Disney entertains them and their parents like nothing else. How about Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Even our DD5 was enthralled with the show! Beauty and the Beast with the janitors singing at the start? Lights, Motors, Action? That new show is the greatest!!!

I guess you'd have to be someone who doesn't watch movies to not like a movie themed theme park. Hmmmmm. That kinda makes sense.

Well, i think calling it "lame" is a bit harsh...

Yes, it is not what the MK is - or as big as Epcot.. but i think MGM offers something different.. It is a great themed park. I love the atmosphere of this park.
Not to mention, If you can go during the holidays - the Osborn lights are AMAZING! And they alone will make it worth your time to go back! Don't give up on MGM yet!

MGM is my 2nd favorite park after MK. TOT is my absolute favorite ride of all time!!! I also love RNR. The atmosphere of the park is also great! I too am disappointed they got rid of WWTBAM, but it's still a great park!

I used to not really care for MGM much at all....and lately we have been going here and there and I have really found that I like it quite a bit. It seems much more slower paced than MK and Epcot and we have been many times and still have yet to see it all and quite frankly I could sit over by RNR and rock out all day to the Aerosmith tunes! I also enjoy a few of the restaurants there and characters seem more easily accessible and out in more abundance than the other parks.
