Is it me or is DHS too much "under Construction"?

DHS has TSMM, ToT, RnRc, Star Tours and Fantasmic!!!!

I haven't bothered to go in years. Between the closings, the removal of live entertainment (street performers, music etc) and the tired shows (I am sorry but it's time for Indiana Jones and Belle to get some new material) there are just a few rides to do. TSM is a joke. I can get on in 15- 30 minutes in California but it's a major production here. And why? It's not because it's a better ride, it's because there is not enough to do at this park for kids meaning the few attractions they are overloaded.

I will be back someday but considering the incredibly slow building schedule Disney follows it will probably be years.

Way too little to do for the family. Every family member was bummed out at the huge decrease of things to do. I can't believe that I did not see that on Disboards? I must not be looking at the right place!

Not sure how you could miss the talks about DHS. There is a lot being redone. There is still a whole lot to do though. And it will only get better.

There are basically walls at the end of Pixar Lane (where the Coke bottle used to be) and then walls by Writer stop and Muppetvision 3D blocking off Streets of America, that's it

The biggest change is you have a dead end instead of being able to walk around past TSMM. That is a huge change but at the same time it doesn't diminish from going to the park. Most of the areas closed didn't have much to do anyway. A few activities but nothing that took a huge chunk of the day so without them there is still quite a bit to do

We were there two different days last week and could have used another partial day. The one thing I really noticed (our last trip was 3 years ago) was that it was a pain to have to go from TSM area back to Star Tours area because you couldn't use the Streets of America. My youngest was a little disappointed that LMA had closed, it was his favorite show.

We were just there and saw many street performers out as always doing little skits. There are also new Star Wars shows in front of the Chinese Theater now too.

I actually enjoyed HS more this past trip ( in May) than I have the past few years. It is still an all day park for us and I am excited about the new offerings.

This - truly I think we enjoyed it more on our February 2016 trip than we have in a while and I am actively looking forward to the new Star Wars expansion. RnR is one of my kids favorites as is ToT, Star Tours, and the GMR. We thought Launch Bay was amazing and loved the Meet and Greets. However, my kids do miss Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, me not so much - that place gave my panic attacks when they were younger!

We just got back and it was really no different to us with the exception of walls and not being able to go from pixar place towards streets of America. The only thing we normally do that we can't anymore is Lights Motor's Action but we got to do Star Wars Launch Bay which seemed like a good trade off (air conditioned building) to me.

Way too much construction. Not much left of DHS for now. I love Star Wars but not enough to be all in for a Star Wars land at the cost of better alternatives.

Over at Disneyland they're destroying much of frontier land in order to build Star Wars land. The Big Thunder Ranch area which included a great BBQ and show stage along with the petting zoo is no more. I can only handle so much Star Wars despite being a big fan for decades. Teen girls have zero interest nor do any of their friends that join us at times.

We always loved Lights Motor Action and Art of Animation was a must do for the kids (tweens/teens).
