Is it just me or does Hillary Duff...

My DH took my DD to see cheaper by the dozen this week. He said Hilary was the worst part of the movie-- the way she looked and the general witchiness of the character.

I do agree shes gotten taller and thinner. She looked pretty good in the Wake Up video--but you can see she is skinny then.

Raven is not a super thin stick.

I like Hilary Duff too and my DD 13 is a big HD fan! I don't see anything wrong with her having her teeth fixed and agree that they may just look out of proportion due to her weight loss. As far as that goes, she's been touring and performing a lot lately and that is most likely the biggest reason for the weight loss. Not to mention she is becoming a woman and girls do slim down and develop more curves at that time. Look at Kelly Clarkson...she lost a lot of weight and said she wasn't trying to, it was just the hard touring schedule that made it happen. Hilary wasn't big to begin with so it wouldn't take much to get thinner quickly.

I don't particularly like her new song Beat of my Heart but it could be worse!! I'm another who is happy to have my DD liking her compared to the other selection of singers out there today.

DD is a big fan and I don't have a problem with her. However I do fear she is turning into one of those "Lollipop head" actresses. You know, giant heads with stick bodies.

I took my dd to her concert last year. I dreaded it for months, but it was not so bad. She was very sweet to the audience, who was mostly pre-teen girls and their parents. We were right next to the stage and I have to admit she is too thin. She does look 10 years older than she is and that is sad.

They'll just be replaced by another set of pop-tarts. They all seem at least marginally preferable to Britney Spears in that the seem literate and knowledgeable of accepted hygiene practices.

I dont care for Hilary Duff.....but around here her character Lizzie McGuire is liked. Her show has always been one that the sweetpea liked. Its a silly show but always has a good message and I never had to worry about what they were doing to show.

I didn't know she was lip-syncing. Since her singing was so bad and she kept hitting sour notes, I thought she was singing live.

BTW, I liked her on Lizzie McGuire, but that changed when she decided to become a pop star.

She's liked in our house and I don't mind. She's a better role model then the others mentioned here. My DD loves her show, Lizzie, and the movie too. Too bad she doesn't do that anymore. We all agree that she's not the best singer but my DD did get her CD for Christmas.

She definitely lost her baby fat and looks much older because of it. DH asked who she was when we watched the NYE show. He was shocked when I told him. He said she looked at least 10 years older. It's too bad but I think it's just her loosing her baby fat and nothing more.

I just hope she stays sweet for my DD's sake. Oh and my DD loves Raven even more and has Raven clothes and tapes all her shows. I think it's great!

I thought her show was cute, But now that she left and on her own- she stinks! She can't sing, seems very phony and getting too skinny.
She looked much better a few years ago.
Looks like aging isn't agreeing with her

I don't know. I have never met her, so I cannot comment on whether or not she has a problem with body odor

I liked her before she just had to quit disney to make more money and go sing. I mean anyone can say "The beat of my heart, the beat of my heart" and in that song you can tell her voice is very animated and digitized.
