She used to look cute and bubbly, but now she is stick thin and it does not look right at all. I hope there's nothing going on and she's just thinned down a bit.

I have to agree that her music wasn't great tonight, but I don't think it was bad either. JMO.

OMG, I thought the same thing! As the camera panned out to the crowd I noticed them singing along. I thought to myself they'd probably never heard the song before and already knew the lyrics.

I didn't watch Dick Clark's New Years' Rockin' Eve (I worked instead ), but I don't think many of the people actually "sing" on the show...and it's been that way for years. If you remember (and I don't, because the show was off the air when I was born), American Bandstand was full of lip-synchers. I think that during the taped segment that featured Duff, most of the bands lip-synch (either that or it could just be poor editing that makes it look like she's lip-synching.

As for liking Duff...um, not so much. That being said, her music is infinitely better than Lindsay Lohan's...and I've been known to watch an episode of Lizzie McGuire every now and then.

I like Hilary Duff, but then I have a DD who is 6, and I would still rather her look up to HD than Lindsey Lohan. I think the difference is just that she has gotten older, and is trying to entice the teenager crowd more than the younger girls.

I have a DD8 and agree - I'll take her over Lohan, Britney, Jessica, etc anyday = although I am glad she now really likes ALi and AJ! Although I will admit she looks too thin.

I think she's very cute. I wish I looked like her when I was a teenager! As for singing, none of the teen actresses/singers are that good as far as I'm concerned, especially when they try to do it live, without studio enhancements.

I think she's a cute girl, but when she got her teeth done, she just totally looks different now. It's almost like that girl from Dirty Dancing getting her nose done. She just doesn't look like herself. I liked her better before. DD used to watch Lizzie M all that time and I got her the cd. I listened to it and liked Come Clean. I like her movies for DD too...and for me too They're cute movies that we can watch together.
