Someone has to stop me...I can't stop planning!! DF is cursing the day I found this board because I've gotten so many ideas and those ideas equate to more money!
Serioulsy though...lately I've been thinking that I'd really like to have a dessert party on the night of our wedding. At first we decided against it because of finances but now we're at the point (we'll I am
) where we are soooo far over our budget, what's another $1500??!!
haha! Anyway...Df is mostly concerned with the the amount of stuff we have planned for our guests...he thinks it may be too much and they may rather just go back to their hotels and stay there after dinner. I feel that an illuminations dessert party would be a most unforgettable ending to our magical day. Here's the timeline...what do you think?
Sun (day before wedding)
Magic Kingdom followed by at 7:40 "Welcome Dinner" at Ohana
Mon (Wedding Day)
11:45am - Guests arrive and are seated at WP
12:00pm - Ceremony
12:30pm - formal photos
1:00pm - Commanders Terrace
2:00pm - Tea and snacks at Gardenview
4:30pm - Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
6:30pm - Bus takes guests back to hotel (to freshen up and change if desired)
8:15pm - bus picks guests back up
9:00pm - Dessert Party
10:00pm - Bus takes guests back to hotel
This is all on top of getting up early and getting ready...so all-in-all about a 14 hour day (16 for the bridal party). Is it too much??
