Is it even worth it?

Thinking of a somewhat last minute 4th of July weekend trip. Stay at the Swan/Dolphin or Coronado. Looks like MK is the only park we won't be able to get to bc of the reservation system, but it's two adults so MK isn't as much of a priority.

I've never been over the 4th and it's approaching, so I was wondering if the crowds, heat, etc. make it worth the hassle?

In the before times, MK would do fireworks on 3rd and 4th. Not sure if it's just 4th this year. But tbh, with it being last minute, I might just focus on the three parks. I'm in the same boat in terms of planning a last minute vacation (how a month out is "last minute" still confounds me 🤣) and having access to only three parks.Hi

You can always try to figure out a way to see fireworks from outside the magic kingdom. Plenty of opportunity from various resorts to see them. But again, I don't know what Covid protocols for non-guests.

Went on the 4th in 2018, the crowds weren’t nearly as bad as I thought they’d be. Would be nice if they brought fireworks back because the MK 4th of July fireworks are unbelievable. You could always park hop if they bring them back.

fireworks come back July 1st

But unfortunately they are not doing The Heartbeat Of Freedom tag at Epcot or Disney's Celebrate America at Magic Kingdom this year for the 4th.

It will just be Epcot Forever without the tag at Epcot and Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom.

That would be a win for me. I do enjoy WDWs 4th of July fireworks, but HEA is just so unbelievably incredible and something you can't see anywhere else, that I prefer it over any other show. Then Epcot Forever was already great, but with the new addition of more Pyro, I'm sure it will be even better!
