Wooohooo on the Hoop Dee Doo ADR!!! My parents are going in December and they are so EXCITED!!! They have been trying to go for years!

Ollies is a lot like a Big Lots only slightly different... ollies sends out coupons to repeat customers so they save even more. I have only been twice but my parents and sister go all the time!

Yay for us & your parents!!! Should be fun & I think a little more exciting for the kids to watch. They love music and from clips I've seen....this will keep them more entertained than the luau.

We have Big Lots out here.....but no Ollies.

Well the DL BBQ has more food choices than the HDDR. The meat at HDDR is only chicken and ribs and the chicken is fried not BBQ. Both options were really good though! Also no coleslaw at HDDR. (and no HUGE Chocolate chip cookie boat for dessert) The show is honestly a lot of fun though and the food is good!

The picture of food was from our 2010 trip to Disneyland. The Celebration BBQ.....I think it's called the Big Thunder BBQ or something like that. Dinner includes the sausage & corn on the cob.......we usually try for the dinner!!

Well readers, we'll be taking a break from our normal programming, so my family can attend a very special week long camp for special needs campers!!

We leave tomorrow morning (Sunday) and won't be home until late Friday afternoon. I will miss our chit chats, but I will have my son Nick....check in on the thread for me....so please stop by to say hi to him this week!!!

Vicki has graciously taken on the task of securing our Candlelight Processional Dining Package. We are hoping for December 15th, the 8:15pm show, with a dinner time close to 5pm at San Angel Inn. Since this wasn't one of the 4 popular restaurants......we feel confident she'll be able to get this. Hopefully Vicki will post on Tuesday to let everyone know how it went (even if I can't see until we return home).

I will return with lots of pictures and a short review of our week. We're very excited for this opportunity for the girls. This camp caters to kids with all different needs. They are given a "buddy" for the week where they'll have the chance for swimming, boating, jet skiing, going up in a hot air balloon~tethered, horseback riding, etc. Some of this is depending on the weather.....our first 2 days look like we could see showers & even thunder storms but then warms right up!! They even cater for the food allergies by offering alternatives. The most amazing thing about this camp is.......Mike & I, Anthony, Addy & the twins all get to attend........for FREE!!!

We're excited to go......but I will miss all my DIS friends!! Hope you all have a great week and if you're booking the CP pkg, that you are successful in getting your first choice!!!! Can't wait to read all about it upon my return!!

Thanx to their church sponsors and fundraisers, families like ours gets this opportunity. The "buddies" are youth groups that train prior to the camp season and they volunteer for a week. One of the groups coming to our camp is actually a church I attended thru jr & sr high school and my mom still goes to.

The weather for the week looks like this:

Mon- 68, chance of showers~~Tue- 72, times of sun~~Wed- 76, nice & sunny~~Thu-76, mostly sunny~~Fri-67, rain

I am a kindergarten teacher. I teach on the Navajo reservation and I love it! I am in AZ so those temps look wonderful to me!! We have been in triple digits for weeks now

What an awesome opportunity for the kids to go to camp and be able to experience all those new things. I'm sure you'll all make more wonderful memories! Can't wait to see the pics when you get back

Oh that's wonderful!!! The Oregon weather will be a welcomed relief from the Arizona heat for sure!
