hi everyone i have just joined up to plan my WDW trip! i have read all these post and my gosh its amazing! my fiance (30) me (23) and our little princess (3) are going for 2 weeks! 12th-26th december! i can not wait! coming from wales UK its gonna be a long flight but so excited! i have no idea where to start planning but i am sure i will get there evenutally! i am not sure about doing MVMCP as we will be there after the parties finnish when the main parade and firework show changes to the chirstmas one anyways but i am not sure. any tips on planning and must do's i would be very happy! we also have tickets for sea world universal wet and wild and aquatica so got alot to get in!

Also those 2 little girls are so sweet and your family looks amazing! x

Welcome!!! You'll have such a fun time!!! You are coming from a ways away but you're spending a good amount of time here to make the flight worth it!!

Follow the threads to get ideas, read PTR's for December time and hopefully you'll be able to figure out a plan for your family. I would say, look into the restaurant/dining threads to pick meals you'd really like to do & then figure out when your 180 day out is so you can make your ADR's (advance dining reservations). Ask questions...lots of people on here that are willing to help.

Your trip sounds so amazing! I hope someday to stay on site and do more of the restaurants...our first trip to WDW last year was fantastic, but a budget trip for sure. as we were myself and DH, my mom, and my sis and her DH we went the condo route as we could get it for $80 a night and it was huge...I want to go back someday with just DH and stay somewhere on site. We did get a taste of the table service as I booked one ADR per day...just have to go back to try more

Great price for the condo......we wouldn't have been able to even think about this trip if it hadn't been for the adoption credit & possible inheritance we're getting. Since we're getting the chance to do this.....we're going to make a dream trip. If we get a chance to go back.....it will probably be more of a budget thing (which usually all our Disneyland trips are).

We got out of the 100's a few days ago! 94 for us now!

It is so exciting to see those decades go down!

And I actually booked an Illuminations Cruise this morning that we are going to share with some other Disers. I am going to try very hard to keep it secret from Andrew but that is really not something I am very good at!

Congrats on our mutual milestone DizNee Luver. If my math is right, that would put our ADR day on a Sunday. Just think... Lacidasical Sunday afternoon. Out on the back porch on the laptop. Saying to yourself "HOW THE HELL IS THAT RES TIME ALREADY TAKE?!?!?! IT's OVER 6 MONTHS AWAY!!!. WHAT DO THEY MEAN THEY NEED A CREDIT CARD TO SECURE THE RES NOW?!?!" Ahhh... Lazy days of Summer.

Ohhh sure. Go ahead and rub it in. Sorry... My inner jealousy got the best of me. As for your lack of ability to keep a secret, how about 1/2 a secret? Just tell Andrew that you were able to secure a viewing area for Illuminations. You're not sure of the exact location (do you know exactly where the boat will be?), but you locked it in. That way, you have officially let some of the steam out of the kettle, but still kept the secret HOT.

I don't think I'll be lounging on the back porch come ADR day.....I think I'll be getting up to make ressies online at 3am our time.....just don't want to chance doing it later in the day & missing out on my chances at a few of the places. Besides, this is also the day my son leaves for Orlando & the Disney College Program.......so once the household gets up for the day, it will be a busy one. BUT, I AM EXCITED FOR IT TO GET HERE!!!!
