I don't mean ocassionally. My dog is trying to singlehandedly wipe out the brown beetle population in Tulsa. He has plenty of food so I don't get it. Should I be concerned?

He would love it. He has nearly completely depleted his stash in the backyard.

That's an idea....maybe I can pimp him out as a bug catcher to cover his vet bills....... :scratchin

:lmao: :lmao: No kidding!!!!!!! Our dog just died, but I heard they just came out with pet insurance. very needed, if you ask me. ;)

We do the Banfield thing where you pay every month. But leave it to me to buy a dog that needs allergy shots, which aren't covered on the wellness plan.

My mother has a dog that will eat anything she finds laying on the ground and yes even bugs! After she eats them she ends up vomiting and then will go and lay down as if to say "why did I eat that" (I should know better). We asked the vet about this and was told that some dogs eat them because they are lacking something in their diet and to try to leep her from doing it- some bugs are poisionous and could be lethal to her! :confused3

Well then my next question is how do you keep a dog from eating bugs? Apparantly brown beetles aren't poisonous because Charlie would have been 6 feet under by now, but surely at some point they will make him sick.

You might have to muzzle him when he's outside to keep him from eating them. My friends rotty likes to eat rocks. After TWO surgeries to remove rocks from the dogs gut, they now muzzle the dog when she goes outside.

I kind of agree with the muzzle but if its not hurting him its probably cheaper than an exterminator. :rotfl: :rotfl:

My dog used to like lotion. He would lick my legs whenever I put lotion on. The only thing that stopped him was when he ate an entire tube of Desitin. And I mean he at the physical tube as well. Only thing left was the plastic top all chewed up. Poor thing vomited for 2 days. Oh and the "lovely" scent of Desitin comes through nice and strong the second time around. :crazy2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: you're a nut

I would love to borrow your dog as well. I have been infested with Japanese beetles  They are everywhere, you can't step outside without getting divebombed by them :furious:
