Is it a waste to book LLMP for 1-day if park hopping and only have 3-day booking window?

My daughter and I will be doing one day at Disney the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

We will be at Universal so will not be onsite, but have AP's.

We want to do AK in the morning for a few hours and then MK (MVMCP day so possibly lower crowds) and then Epcot.

I've sort of been looking at LLMP availability at the 3-day mark for AK and it looks like only late afternoon times are available. We aren't doing a ride heavy day, but would like to ride Expedition Everest, Safari, Tiana, and Guardians (I will be buying the LL for this) and fill in with a couple smaller rides.

Is it a waste to purchase LLMP if we can't get any earlier time spots at AK? I haven't used the new system yet since our last trip was in July before the switch over.

Anyone have any suggested strategies for our day?

What about start at MK (no need for LLMP on a party day), then go to AK with pre-booked LLMP, then Epcot at night? You could try refreshing for a LLMP to pop up at Epcot as you travel there.

I was thinking about that.

I was messing around with the app and I think I'm only seeing late afternoon times because I didn't have a park reservation.

I'm doing a test this Saturday to see if I can actually see any morning times at AK.

Thank you for the video! Great information.

I guess I can check again the first couple weeks of November after the Premier Pass rolls out...
