DVC members will not have to pay the new ' inflated seasonal' disney dining plan rates? (Instead of just $40 per adult for the DDP, rates would increase during busier seasons).

I heard that DVC members will always just pay the $40. Any news about that out there?

I called today because my in-laws thought the cost was $45 per day for the week of Thanksgiving, we are arriving the day after. The DVC member CM told me that the cost is $41.99 per day for adults throughout the year, no peak fluctuations for members.

Was it always $41.99? i thought it was $39....I might have been mistaken...

Are there fluxuations at all? Or are they holding off on that?

• $41.99 per night, per Guest ages 10+
• $11.99 per night, per Guest ages 3-9

Disney Deluxe Dining Plan Pricing:

• $71.99 per night, per Guest ages 10+
• $20.99 per night, per Guest ages 3-9

Disney Quick Service Dining Plan Pricing:

• $31.99 per night, per Guest ages 10+
• $9.99 per night, per Guest ages 3-9

Prices went up a couple of dollars from the 2009 prices.

The price in 2009 was $39.99 each day. I think it was $2 cheaper the year before, so maybe that reflects the usual increase for members each year.
