It does not bother us, but we are adults. What bothers me is when people talk on a phone during parades, OK, maybe you are bored, but I am not.

When people do that, my sister talks to others around her loudly so that they have to take their conversation elsewhere.

It does bother me, and I may give people a look or ask them not to spoil it for the little kids.
But DD is seven and we've had to reassure her since she was three that they are wearing costumes because it really scares her. She screamed at Stitch to get away from her once. She loves seeing her princesses and fairies but I'm the one going to get autographs from everyone else because she won't go near them (still wants the autograph though). I always make sure no one can hear me, I would never want to ruin it for someone else.
