If the number in our dining party has changed from 6 to 7? We have dining reservations at quite a few restaurants and my husbnad has decided to join us last minute. Should I call Disney and try to add one person? Thanks in advance for your help

If you were going from 5 to 6 I would say no. But 6 to 7, not sure

I would try to change hte adrs if you can. If you can't, your best bet is to show up a little early and let them know you have 7. The worst they will do is decline to seat your party. If so, have a backup plan. If there are any adrs for places where there is an upfront charge or cancellation fee, I would either change or cancel

good luck and glad he can go too!!

Since you are going to need a larger sized table I would go on line and re-book as many as possible. You might have to choose a different time or date.

Depending on how busy the restaurants are, you might be lucky if you walk up with an extra person, but I'd rather not leave it to chance.

Good luck.

Yes, that is a problem. Restaurant tables are set up in twos; two-top, four-top, six-top, etc.

If you go from 6 to 7, you go from a six-top to an eight-top, which means the hostess will have to wait for an eight-top to open up, and will most likely split your table into a two-top and a four-top and accommodate guests waiting behind you.

If you were going from an eight-top to a six-top, you would not have a problem, because the hostess could split up your table and accommodate a two-top as well as your party.

Thank yo all for the advice. I will give them a call and see what I can do. We are going during free dining time although we are not taking advantage of that. I hope they can squeeze one more in.

I can tell you that I am going the week after Thanksgiving and I go alone; I booked my ressies at the 180 mark anticipating free dining would be extended. And it was.....:scared1:

Boy, am I glad I did.

Hi! I just changed our party size from 6-7 as well. I had booked my ADR's at the 180 day mark anticipating FD...

Sadly, you can't just add 1, as a PP stated you have to make new ADR's. I was able to get about half the ADR's I had planned revised.

I did some creative work (my extra people are my adult sisters and can dine separately from us-so this may not work for you).

Garden Grill, I couldn't add 1 so I made an ADR at San Angel Inn for my sisters at the same time.

Le Cellier-made them an ADR at Les Chefs de France for same time.

'Ohana-made them an ADR for Kona Cafe at the same time.

Chef Mickey's-I couldn't get a reservation for 7 people. But I was able to keep the ADR I had and make a separate ADR for 2 people for the same time as my other ADR-so we will all be in the same place at the same time.

These were the one's I was able to re-book for 7 people:
Coral Reef
1900 Park Fare
Boatwright's
T-Rex
Donald's Breakfast
Liberty Tree Tavern

For us, I thought this may actually be pretty nice-we will be in connecting rooms in the resort and all together most of the day, so it may provide some "break time" for all of us.

Good luck with your ADR's!
