Is HRH a good hotel to stay at with a young child?

We've stayed at Portofino Bay and Royal Palms so far, and we LOVED Royal Palms. We're thinking that we might like to try the HRH also if we can ever get a good rate there. We live an hour away, so we'd only be going for a night or 2. Would this be a good hotel to stay at with a toddler? We did the $35 suite upgrade with our Loews' First Gold membership at RPR and we really liked having the extra space of the suite. Is it likely that we'd also be able to do this at the HRH?

personally, RPR is my favorite overall hotel, from the atmosphere to the pool to the great service. HRH wouldnt be a bad place for a child because he/she will LOVE the huge pool w/ a slide. It wouldnt be a bad idea for y'all to try it because the rooms are considerably larger than RPR. Some rooms sleep up to five or six, which is good for my family of five (RPR makes you buy a rollaway bed for a family of five)

I think you probably mean Royal Pacific. Hard Rock is great for kids with the ice cream shop and great pool with lots of child oriented activites. If there is space available, you will be able to upgrade.

I personally would not choose HRH with a toddler. WE have stayed at both the Royal Pacific and Portofino and loved them both with our kids....with the number one choice being RPH....we stayed at the Hard Rock in May and were very disappointed. Back to one of the other 2 for us.
