Is Hoop De Doo worth a visit?

The show is fun, but it is very corny. Much closer to a community theater comedy night than broadway. Still, when you combine it with good food and sangria, it's a fun time.
I wouldn't go that far. Yes, it's corny, but the performers are all top-quality, professional.

I was more talking about the script of the show, but reading back, it does sound harsh. The performers are great at their roles.

Definitely worth going. The food is good and the talent is excellent. Script can be corny, but that is half the fun.

We went for the first time this year and my 12 and 14 year olds loved it more than I expected. It was a fun time and different than our other meals. The service is great, the food is decent, and there is no shortage of drinks. I would definitely go again.

We’ve done it at least five times over the years beginning back in the early 80’s. It’s a fun time and the food is good. I find it more enjoyable with a big group and have enjoyed it with family and friends of all ages. Corny for sure, but a good time.

I went for the first time a couple of weeks back because the people I was traveling with wanted to go. One and done for me, the food and show were meh.

How’s the food? How’s the show? What ages is it best for?
If you have young kids it’s an experience perhaps worth doing once. It’s over priced mass catering with a forgettable show. Unless you are staying nearby it’s a long journey…. Done it, ticked the box… better things to do at Disney.

I don’t like food like at Roundup Rodeo
or Flame Tree barbecue so if that’s the case then I can hope the show is good enough to
outweigh a mediocre meal??

It shares a kitchen with the adjacent Trail’s End. You can purchase all of the food that’s served at the Hoop-De-Doo, including the strawberry shortcake, at a much lesser price.

I do enjoy the show but at $70pp, it’s not something I intend on seeing more than once a decade or so.

We have been to Hoop-Dee-Doo six times. To me-buying the most expensive seating tickets (you have to call the first day you are able to make reservations) really makes the show a better experience. The food is good enough, the show is cute, and we enjoy it. We don't enjoy it enough to go every time we are at Disney-it takes a big chunk of time out of your day, and it is a bit pricy, but we enjoy it enough to attend every five years or so.
