My neighbors are now voting for Obama I'm in shock. Their DD said they watched the debate & changed their mind.

Anyones else know of anyone changing their vote this late in the game?

I convinced my Jewish grandparents to vote for Obama, and quite a few of my republican and undecided relatives have switched to Obama after listening to Palin speak.

I am an independant who was leaning toward McCain until I went to a rally with Palin. I'm voting Democratic now.

Just found out last night, my best friends boyfriend who is normally a die hard Rep, is voting Obama.

Oddly enough, one of my conservative neighbors had to call me the other night to tell me they had listened to Palin and changed their vote to Obama, they said McCain obviously didn't know what he was doin' when he chose her.

I'm more than surprised because they're Christian conservatives too, kinda figured they'd love Sarah, but apparently they...well, anyway, they changed their support.

A VERY close family member calls Obama Hopey McHope and says he's running on the Rainbow and Unicorn platform, but still plans to vote for him saying he's a far better choice than the other guy.

I think that the choice of Sarah Palin as a running mate is going to go down in history as one of the biggest political blunders ever. What was he thinking?

I don't know. Considering how important the VP choice is, I am stunned at who McCain picked.

He has wanted this Presidency so bad and to make a poor choice to "show off" I guess was a testament to why he won't be President.

Before the McCain Liberty Uni visit, I thought he was a Maverick. It really is disappointing to see him follow this path he is on.

My best friend was really enthused with Hillary. Not a conservative at all, but was so upset at the way the primaries went that she was seriously considering JmC......until Palin. Feels the way I do.

She doesn't really care much for Obama, but will vote for him and hope for the best.

Yes, hell has frozen over - at least in our neighborhood. We live in a seriously conservative-bible belt-right wing-Republican area. DH and I have been Republicans since we started voting decades ago. ALL of our neighbors are Republicans. The day after Palin was announced, you could hear the dominoes falling up and down our road. More fell as time went on. And not because she's a woman. We weren't overly impressed with McCain, but as good little Repubs, we'd have stuck with him. But not with Palin.

A few folks aren't going to vote at all now, but many will be voting Democratic. (This is STUNNING for this area, believe me.)

Palin was a BIG mistake in our little corner of the world.
