Is going to MVMCP once enough?

Yes. Not a lot extra goes on. There are candy stations where you trick or treat. There is a parade, there are firework that are different. The parade is the highligt, i dont like parades, but this one is pretty good.

The rest is pretty similar but with different decor, you'll have enough time to see it all.

I believe the OP was talking about the Xmas party.;)

I think once is enough for MVMCP. We were able to get everything done. Also, I think once was enough in general. We probably won't do it again for a few years. Now MNSSHP I could go to every year!

We go every year to MVMCP, but I do think that one a year is enough. It's a very nice parade, good fireworks, and there are some shows.

It depends. We're going two nights....one to see and do and one to ride and catch what we missed. The ride lines are amazingly short so we're planning 2 nights for that reason.

Depends if you can afford to go more than one night.
If yes, then 2 nights will give you more time to catch the special Christmas shows, parade, ect. Plus have time to ride the rides and shop for the special merchandise.
If no, I still think it can be done, but it will just have to be done at a faster speed.

I think one night is plenty. You see the show the parade, and don't forget to drink *lots* hot chocolate, and eat a bunch of cookies!;)

I'm glad you asked this question. I was about to post the same thing. I'm getting so excited and I'm suddenly worried we won't have enough time to See Twas the Night Before Christmas; the early parade (My little one might not hold out for 10:30 and I know she will love it); hit the dance parties; and get pictures with mickey and minnie in their holiday outfits and probably Cinderella. I'm so tempted to get the tickets for a second night. I'd love opinions, or some information on how long the shows and parades are.

Last year, we did all of this. We were there on the 14th? or somewhere around there.

We watched the TTNBC show during the early parade, did photos and rides, and camped out for the late parade and fireworks.

If you could get a good nap in that afternoon, do you think they could make it to the late parade?

:cool1: For the last 3 Christmas trips we have done MVMCP twice. This year we are doing it once since my parents are going with us. You may want a second night if your first set of tickets are on a Fri, Sat or Sun--those days are very crowded and the end of mainstreet is a horrible crowd to navigate thru with the FW and the parade. So we usually do 2 nights to do all the rides with less lines and stuff. Last year we did Fri night(crazy crowd, but that made it kinda fun--everyone in the Christmas spirit) and then Tuesday nitght--less crowd more rides :thumbsup2. I think if you do it twice you will not be disappointed, especially if it is during the week. Heck, why not if you have the money and the time.:santa: We will be there the 9th.

anyone else? I am leaning towards going twice as DH said YES to two parties. I don't want to be rushed and seeing that we have never been to a hard ticket event before I really don't know what to expect.

This is a helpful discussion for me. We will be there on the 9th (our first time). We will be 2, possibly 4 adults. Can anyone offer any strategies or "must sees" for us. It sounds like the second parade is our best bet, but beyond that I don't have a plan yet.

Might be helpful if we could get show lengths. I know times were posted but how long are the shows? That should be a good factor if we are able to see it all in one night.

From my understanding the shows range from 25 to 30 minutes and are shown several times throughout the night. I have read in other posts that the second parade is much less crowded and some of the later shows are not as crowded either.

We always go once during our 8 day trip & manage to get everything in, but if I could afford it, I would go twice !!!!! :santa: :santa: :santa:
