Yes. Not a lot extra goes on. There are candy stations where you trick or treat. There is a parade, there are firework that are different. The parade is the highligt, i dont like parades, but this one is pretty good.
The rest is pretty similar but with different decor, you'll have enough time to see it all.

I'm glad you asked this question. I was about to post the same thing. I'm getting so excited and I'm suddenly worried we won't have enough time to See Twas the Night Before Christmas; the early parade (My little one might not hold out for 10:30 and I know she will love it); hit the dance parties; and get pictures with mickey and minnie in their holiday outfits and probably Cinderella. I'm so tempted to get the tickets for a second night. I'd love opinions, or some information on how long the shows and parades are.
For the last 3 Christmas trips we have done MVMCP twice. This year we are doing it once since my parents are going with us. You may want a second night if your first set of tickets are on a Fri, Sat or Sun--those days are very crowded and the end of mainstreet is a horrible crowd to navigate thru with the FW and the parade. So we usually do 2 nights to do all the rides with less lines and stuff. Last year we did Fri night(crazy crowd, but that made it kinda fun--everyone in the Christmas spirit) and then Tuesday nitght--less crowd more rides
We will be there the 9th.
