Is going in Feb 2004 Possible ?????

I posted a note on the rent board,,,, But would like any feed back I can get.... Is it possible to get a res for feb ??..I know the week the kids are ouy of school would be tough, but what about the week before???? A studio or 1 bedroom at WDW would be great, I want to try to rent for the first time ..Than talk my wife into buying !!!

There will probably be SOMETHING available, but you may not have many resorts to choose from. Old Key West is the largest DVC property at present, so that resort will probably have something available. The others are a crap shoot.

You will have to get in touch with someone willing to rent points and he/she will have to contact member services to see what is available on your desired travel dates.

Hi there - I answered you over on the rental board,... As of this past Monday, I got a one bedroom at BCV and there was OKW available.

Keep in mind that many members may be put off by the title of your request on the Rent/Trade ( "Thinking of Renting" ).

For a trip as close as you are wanting, there are restrictions for members if they should make a reservation for a renter and then find the renter was only "thinking" and didn't really want to commit. If a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, the member loses full use of those points.

Expect that the member may ask for payment in full BEFORE even making your reservation and then have a no refund policy. Most would be willing to assist the renter in remaking a reservation using those same points- subject to DVC policies regarding their use.

Just an FYI to others -- The President's Week appears to be sold-out at all WDW DVC resorts in every size villa.
