Is free Dining the only type pin code offer going on right now?

I got a pin code for free dining, but have noticed posts regarding the 4/3 offer and 40% off room rates. Are there 3 types of offers going on now? If so, is one of the others a better deal than the free dining?

I believe the 4/3 offer is no longer valid. The 40% off room rates came out, I believe the begining of this year but are valid for certain dates throughout the end of this year. There is currently a 35% off room rate fall discount as well.

ETA: Typically the 40% off room rate is a better deal if you stay at a deluxe & the free dining is the best deal staying at a value. (depending on the time of year you stay, how many people in your party, etc...)

for those dates you can use FD. Not the room discount. It depends on where you stay and how many people are in your party.

For example, with my family we have - what disney considers 5 adults. At $40per day for dining x's your days - say 5 nights you are saving $1,000. No way you'll save that much on the 40% off rate??
Now if it's for 2 adults staying at a deluxe, the room discount may work out better. Make sense??

Princessmom29- I got the Pin offer. The free dining dates listed are for:
11/29-12/17 or 10/2- 11/24. Hope that helps!

I have a PIN for a % discount (don't remember the amount) for the dates you need but I really need/want one for free dining instead. To bad they won't let us trade.

We are going Oct. 3rd-11th with the general public free dining but I would love to switch my trip to the following week.

I got mine in the mail and my daughter also got one in the mail. I got a 40% pin offer for Oct-Dec via email for AP holders (so did everyone else in the family too -- All AP holders).

You say General Public free dining for Oct 3-11, that is our dates and that is covered in my free dining pin code. Are you saying the deal is available even without the pin code for those dates?

Yes. The general public free dining offer is August 16-Oct. 3. So a guest can check in on Oct. 3rd and receive free dining for the length of their stay.

I've planned a trip for 9/23 to 10/1. Unfortunately I broke my foot and am not sure if we'll have to cancel. Got free dining but may have to try to re-schedule for 10/20-28/09. Saw mentioned free dining/discount rooms for that time frame.

How do you get these? I don't see on disney's website free dining offered.

Currently free dining for 10/20 through Dec 09 is available only by using a specific PIN code that Disney has sent out (some through email, some through snail mail). If you are not lucky enough to receive one of those mailings, free dining isn't an option for you.. Depending on bookings from those PINS Disney may or may not open up free dining for the public for that time period..there is really no way to know for sure. Good luck!

I did not realize you could book your entire stay under the pin if the dates only covered the first day of your stay.

I have a question. I received a postcard for the free dining in Nov. and Dec., but it says "with a stay at a Value Resort". Does that mean you have to stay at a value?
