Everyone on vacation should be able to ride or not ride what they choose. No one person should have final say for an entire group. That holds true for everything, not just FoP, RnRC, Space Mountain etc.
I would never force a motion sickness prone person to ride something that could wreck the rest of their day.
I would never sit out on a ride that I want to do because someone else may not be able to do it.
So get a FP for those who want to ride FoP and set everyone else up for Navi or to a character greeting if they are so inclined? The later in your trip you plan an AK day, the greater flexibility you will have in picking FP times.
