Wondering if we need fast pass to see this show and have decent seats. Does it really save time standing in line? Going in Sept after labor day

I'd just wait to book your F! FPs the day-of (as your 4th or 5th or 6th FP of the day.)

There are SO MANY F! FP available, that they are very easy to get day-of.

We were able to get a fp for Fantasmic as our 4th fp last September. The seating area for fp's was the third section from the entrance.

We went last month ("slower" time) and got a FP for Fantasmic as our 4th FP. It was completely unnecessary. We arrived about a half hour prior to start time and our FP were useless. I wouldn't use it as my first 3 FPs but maybe get it as your 4th (they were still available a couple hours prior to show time) if you're worried. :)

Thanks! I was wondering about this too. We are going APril 7-12 and dont want to do the dining to get F! seats, We have our 3 FP scheduled already & didnt really want to use one of those to get a spot, but dont want to have to stand in line forever either. :)

Guests attending the first (or only) F! performance of the evening do not have to "stand in line."
That's not how entering F! works.

Guests (with or without FP or Dining Pkg.) just arrive at the F! gates, walk through the queue, enter the theater, find a seat, and sit down to wait for the show to start.

A Fantasmic FP+ actually hurts you sometimes. We got one in September 2013. People were pouring past us to go to their seats, while we waited in a line to scan our magic bands. By the time we got through, they had just opened up all seats as a free-for-all, and we ended up on the next to last row.

It's one of those FP's for attractions that never really needed it, along with Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World, ....
