Fantasy Island is a no longer first run t.v.series that starred Ricardo Montalban and Herve Villachez. Herve played Tattoo, and he spoke with a French accent. Hence, de plane de plane. He (Tattoo) would say that to assist with alerting his boss, Mr. Roarke that their guests were arriving at the island.
