This is one of those unknowns of the cosmic universe! Who knows? I don't think the people who should know, know! We were there May 27-June 3, very crowded time of year, and they had the place closed. Pecos Bills was full of people, as was everywhere else, so why they leave it closed is just a mystery to all. We love it because its a change from regular Counter Service fare with Taco Salad and tacos etc.

This restaurant has NEVER been open on any of our trips. If it is so good, why is it never open?

I'm not sure why it hasn't been a constant...I love it and with POTC opening on 7/1 I was hoping they would have it open as well.

This is mine and my dh's favorite cs. It's always so disappointing to see it closed. It's so random too...it's been closed during busy times yet open during slower times and vice versa. There's no rhyme or reason to it.

If it is so good, why is it never open?

Every time we have gone, the place has been empty. Not that they don't have good food (we love it), but it's not very visible like all the other CS eateries. As a result, people walk right by it without every noticing there's a place to eat. I think it's really hurt their sales...hence their openings are incredibly sporadic. I just wish there was a schedule they could actually adhere to. Kind of hard to increase sales if no one knows when they're going to be open.

I thought I read a post recently where someone stated it was open. This was a week or so ago. I'm hoping that it will be open when we go, although I have ADR's every day except lunch our last day in MK so I am not sure how we would eat there!! I'm hoping it's open now with the opening of POC this summer.

I agree that because it's sort of hidden, it gets passed by.

But I'm glad I found it - it's got great counter food - love those tacos!

Didn't they try to make it a TS a few months ago? I swear it was a BBQ buffet TS place in October last year when DH and I were there. I thik they were testing it out. I could kick myself for not trying it!

Just confirming that it was open last week but it didn't open until noon for lunch. Great food!
