Is Easter week doable?

Am I completely crazy for even considering a trip to the World the week of Easter, the last week in March? I've never gone at this time, and know it is very popular with spring breakers. I have been to the parks during the 4th of July week and Christmas week. How will this Easter week compare to those?
Will it be warm enough to go to a water park?
I wouldnt even consider this week , except that summer vacations are out now since our children have gotten into baseball and softball. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch them do well and make all-star teams, but it does take up every weekend throughout the summer.
So, thus my dilemna-- try it at Easter week or try to survive and go at Halloween during fall break?
What do you suggest?

We've gone many times at Easter week due to school schedules. It is doable, as long as you plan well. Any sit-downs require PS's, get to the parks early, take a break-all the usual busy time advice applies. The weather varies-but is usually warm enough for water parks.

Easter is the least crowded of the three you have listed. I would go in a heartbeat.

It is very crowded, but doable. We went Easter week last year and had a wonderful time (and I don't tolerate crowds well at all). In fact, DH enjoyed the cooler weather so much on our last trip that he said he never wants to go in June again, so I guess from now on it will be Spring Break for us - at least while we still have children at home. He hates the heat, I hate the cold and although neither of us likes the crowds, Spring Break seems to be the best compromise.

It's doable. We did it twice already! The park hours were open until 11pm or 12 midnight (I don't know what the hours for this year).

We did take advantage of early entry. We go back to our resort around 1pm after lunch, then later in the afternoon, we go to the same park or diff park. What we do is skip the parades and skip the fireworks. We were able to ride the rides without a lot of waiting in line. For instance we rode the PoC 3X in less than an hour! We were able to ride Dumbo 2X in less than 45 min. I think I even took a picture of the fireworks from the Dumbo ride. We also did Buzz Space Ranger 2X within an hour without using fast pass. We did Aladdin ride 2X within an hour. We were "hot"...we were on the "go". It was a non stop...why? We took advantage of the simple fact that most of the people were watching the parades and the fireworks while we did our rides. It was the best ever! It was crowded, but it wasn't too bad.

The weather was...wonderful. It was sunny and warm, but not hot. I would do Easter again. You just have to have a plan of attack. Have fun!

But what about the first two weeks of July....7/5 to 7/12? That is the only time we can go to WDW....

If that is the only time you can go, GO. Hot, yes, but very doable if you take your time and plan ahead with breaks.

Just remember that this year Easter coincides with Spring Break. Not sure if you can compare that with other years when Easter comes much later than Spring Break.

We will be there! We went the same week last year, of course Easter was later last year. We did go to BB. It was only cold one day that week. The day we went to BB it was around 82 degrees and pleasant. We are shooting for going to TL on the Friday before Easter this year if the weather is nice. If you see us, say "Hey!"

All of NYC Public Schools are not off for Easter Week this year, they are off the last week in April instead.
