We use to have a wind tunnel..i think that is what it was called..and we borrowed a friend's dyson to see the difference. i used my wind tunnel and went over it with the dyson. I could not Believe how much hair and dirt was still in my carpet that the wind tunnel didn't pick up!! I have the regular yellow dyson and it has been awesome. I find that it picks up fine on bare floors too. I am very happy with it.
Mine has been in the shop twice. Once was somehow something sliced the cord..it was our fault..we took it to Sears who sent it out and I got the cord replaced and they did some maintenance work on it..all covered under the warranty.
However, yesterday my dyson just died. It won't turn on
We have had it for three /four years. So I just dropped it off today to get it fixed. It will take at least two weeks
But thank goodness it is still under warranty
