Is Donald Guaranteed?

We are going on our first family trip in November, we have three kids DS8, DD3 and DD2. My son thinks we're not going until February so this trip is a surprise for him and our girls. He was reading a guidebook and saw the character meals and since his favorite character is Donald he of course wants to eat with him. My question is this I had already planned on CM's and I need to know if Donald is a guarantee or is it hit or miss?

Per the booking terms of all character meals, no character is ever guaranteed. My understanding is that it's rare he isn't there, especially since all of the costumes take people of roughly the same size.

Donald is also at Tusker House, in Animal Kingdom. The characters there wear safari outfits.

We also has Donald at Monnie's Holiday Dine at H &V in HS.

Characters are never gauranteed, but since Donald is not a face character, it is very likely he will be there.

Get a late seating at Minnie s holiday at H&V, and there is a good chance you can get Donald and daisy kissing each time they pass each other, also Micky and Minnie. Definitely a great moment. near the end of the night all characters are up front and will pose together. sometimes....

Disney guarantees nothing but chances are very very good Donald will be there. He was every time we have eaten there. Funny story - one time we were there his hat fell off. He looked so funny. We realized we had never before seen him without a hat. He took off on break to fix it lol.

That would be so cool! My DDIL has requested this restaurant in particular so we can see Donald and Daisy together. My DS name is Donald, and I always get them D&D souvenirs so this would be perfect if it happens!

1) Donald was only absent from Tusker during one week (three years ago).
2) other than that, he has never failed to appear at Tusker.
