Is Disney still mailing confirmation letters?

So, last year when we stayed onsite we received a confirmation letter in the mail. This year I have confirmation emails of my resort ressies, but have yet to receive anything by mail. Is this because I did room only instead of a package like last year. Just checking!

We are going to WDW July 12-19 and I have booked two rooms. The first room they had put my e-mail address on and e-mailed me the confirmation. The second had to be put in my mom's name(primary person in the room) even though I'm paying for both, and they didn't put my e-mail on it so they mailed it because they didn't have an e-mail address. I think if they are give an e-mail they send it that way. you could always call and have one sent.

Oh, I forgot we did room only too.

I recieve the confirmation package last week for our POP trips. Now that I have changed to CBR, I'm wondering if I will get another package for the update, does anyone know?

I have received both paper and email confirmations. I made ressies back in early Jan. by phone with Disney and received a confirmation by mail. Earlier this month I made a payment online and received an online conf. A week later I received a paper confirmation. Yesterday I made another online payment and got another online confirmation. I suppose I will receive a hard copy sometime next week.

Made ressies for 2 rooms, no email on either, but received written confirmation on daughter's room twice, but not mine.

Emails only now. I asked a few days ago why I hadn't gotten any thru the mail. They said to just print it as my copy. I suppose if you demand a hard copy they will send you one.

We just received our reservation info for our July trip. The reservation did not include the rooms though. When should we expect to see that info?

I got an email confirmation for my ressie, but it does say if you want a paper copy to call the 407 number and you can request it.

I have received one for my Oct trip to one resort but not the other and none for my April trip and we booked them at the same time...

I received ours this week and we leave 3-30-08. - I got it both via email and usps.

I was given a choice. Then the email didnt come for a few days so I was worried and had them email it to me.

If you're concerned about what your confirmation receipt is, you can go online and check thru "my vacation" on their site. You need your resv # and phone # to do so.

I will also add that the first time I made room only resv, i got a letter confirmation and email. Then I switched to package and received same thing. THEN I called and added my new daughter to it (we didn't know what her name would be at the time of booking so had to call back after she was born since they must have everyones name on the ressie). That time I got only email. THEN I added a second ressie for room only since we were extending our stay at another resort and that was email only as well. Since then I've made about 3 changes to my package and every time has been email conf. only. I was told they no longer mail receipts.

Last year for my families vacations to WDW we both got e-mail confirmations and got them mailed to our house. This year for our upcoming stays in August and December we have just got the e-mail confirmation and nothing has been mailed to our house. Also all our reservations were room only if that matters.

I only got e-mails for our July, December, and upcoming March/April trips. We booked July on-line and December and Spring Break over the phone.

I made reservations online last Saturday for Sept. 13-19, MYW package at POFQ. I received an e-mail confermation within minutes and a hard copy in the mail Thursday.

You will get a final confirmation with your travel package about 45 days prior to your trip, those are what really matter.
Last August we never got confirmation emails at all only in the mail. We even got new snail mail confirmation emails when we made changes to our reservations.
