I was thinking of doing MK the Monday morning after Easter at rope drop...staying through lunch, and instead of staying in the crowded park all day... leave after lunch and do the afternoon/ evening at Disney Springs..maybe eat at Raglan Road. We have never been to Disney Springs. A friend of mine though told me spring break/ Easter week in Downtown Disney was even "worse than the parks during spring break". But my thinking was at least we aren't waiting in long lines for rides at MK?! Thoughts>? Is this a bad idea?

We were at MK this past Easter and I didn't think MK or Disney Springs was that bad. I wouldn't worry too much about Disney Springs on Easter. I personally don't think it's anywhere close to as bad as the parks during spring break

We go annually over Easter break and the week prior to and just after Easter are always busy no matter if you are in the park or not.

No, it's no big deal. Last year the traffic was the bigger issue but that should be resolved, I think all the construction is scheduled to be finished spring 2016. Personally I don't think Easter week is as bad as it's made out to be.

We were there the week leading up to Easter this last spring...and it wasn't horrible. Busy, yes? But, unless you are going early in the AM, it is always going to be busy..
