Is Disney Re-Opening stores??

I live in Pittsburgh. We had multiple Disney Stores, but when the whole "shut-down" thing happened, I thought we ended up with only one store (South Hills Village).

I just happened to check the mall website for Ross Park Mall (a Simon Mall) and it lists under the store directory:

The Disney Store - Coming Soon!

Is Disney re-opening stores or did the Ross Park Mall store stay open and it's one of the stores being remodeled???

The manager at my closest store said they are thinking of re-opening the 2 other stores that closed down by me. She said nothing is definite yet, but she's pretty sure they'll be reopening stores.

I know that the Burlington, MA store will be opening before Christmas. The Disney store in nashua, NH told me.

Last time I checked(a few months ago)on Disneystore.com, the South Hills village store was the only one in the Pgh area. So hopefully that means they will re-open some stores in the Pgh area. The South Hills Village store is about an hour from me. I would love a closer one. We used to have one at the Westmoreland mall.

I thought the Ross Park one was officially closed - not just for remodel. I would love to see it come back.

And while they're at it, if they could open a new one at the Pgh Mills... I would be a frequent customer

Our Houston Galleria store has been closed for about 8 months and it's reopening on Tuesday after being remodeled. Can't wait!

I just had a co-worker, who knew I would be interested, tell me that the Disney store closer to me (Phoenix), that had shut down, will be re-opening!
Same mall, not sure if the exact location is the same. But, .!
We have had to settle for going to the Disney outlet store, as all the others had closed. Great! I need my Disney store!

Does anyone know if they will still be kids' stores only or if they will once again have adult things? I've been avoiding ours for quite a while because it's just a store for small children.

I hope some stores re-open. As of right now, we are an hour and ten minutes drive to the closest store!

All the stores in the Buffalo area closed, I so wish we would get at least one back and that they would carry a good variety not just kids stuff.

Contrary to popular belief...I knew I wasn't crazy! I thought that the SHV was the only open store.

Let's hope the new store is a good one!

Disney Store in Burlington, MA is opening Around August 17th. Also a brand new store will be opening in Peabody, MA - Northshore Mall around August 31st. Yes they are coming back....I also hope their will be more adult stuff as well.

Nothing here in Maine. I wish they would re-open Portland it was always busy.

We don't even go to the Maine Mall anymore since the Disney Store closed. WE used to take a trip down every few months and browse the mall go to the Disney Store, check out Christmas Tree Shop... We have no reason to go to Portland anymore.

We were at Factory Card and one of the employees there was changing to go to her second job, she came out of the back and had a Disney store shirt on...HUH? We only had 1 store here locally but it closed with everyone elses. I guess it opened back up?
