if people are willing to pay for it, Disney will keep the prices the same or gradually get higher.

Disney is somewhat over-priced but thats how they get the money to add new things. I wish they could still have all the money and stuff without guests having to pay so much for it.

no i think that it's not too expensive :teeth:

Well yes, I DO think it is overpriced...but when you think about everything it costs Disney between their INSANE electric bill (to power all the hotels, parades, street lights, and rides), plus sanitation, all water facilities, food, CM pay, Imagineer pay, buying the merchandise to sell, ETC. ETC. ETC., you realize that you have to help pay for all that...

I think it's slightly overpriced...but I do respect them, because they could get away with charging so much more money for things.

Yeah. Thirty dollars is a bit much for a large pizza. I do agree that they probably have to because of the electric bill.

IMO, that's way too much for 13 little pins... Sounds like Disney suckered you in good. :rolleyes:

Disney is overpriced. There really isn't much an opinion there. It's basically a fact.

It's no secret that Disney is way overpriced. They can charge what they want for basic things because they know that not many people are going to want to leave the complex to go to a store in Orlando where it would be cheaper. Everything is overpriced except for gum and that's only because it's not available at Disney.

Look everything good has a price. . .you just have to be willing to pay to make it worth it!
Disney costs alot because it takes alot to make the magic happen, I mean think about it not only the electric bill(which everyone seems to be mentioning) but all the research it takes to make the rides safe and enjoyable to us, the DISers! So lets live with the huge astronomical prices. . .because in the end it's worth it. Not to mention we have no choice in the matter. :)

:teeth: it is i suppose a bit over-priced but i'm not the one paying :teeth:

everyone knows that disney is over-priced, but they're obviously putting all that money to good use, considering we all come back year after year despite the high cost! Plus, disney really is a nice vacation spot: it's clean, the people are polite, and you experience magic that's hard to find anywhere else!

::yes::

Wonder what it would be like to be the owner of the company who air conditions WDW :p Must be paid a lot.

After just visiting Six Flags, I was surprised that Disney is actually less expensive than them. Food and merchandise was like $3-4 more at Six Flags. You also have to realize that when you buy stuff at WDW you aren't just helping out WDW you are helping the entire Disney Company, which is humongous. lol

most overpriced place i have ever seen. i wanted to get a stuff animal of Chip & Dale on the cruise (btw, they are the same prices) at they wanted thirteen dollars for something that would easily be 5-9 $! mind you, that is in american money, which we did not have piles and piles of on vacation.

The pins are alittle pricy, but for me since I'm a huge pin trader have over 200 pins, I'll still buy them.

I think it is seriously underpriced. Think of all the employees they have there and how they make a living. I am planning a trip for 5 and going 5 instead of 4 days only costs five bucks more. The airplane trip costs nearly a thousand dollars more, and I live in Missori!
