We are looking into the 4 night Wonder for July 2003 and notice that there are no dates in red indicating a stop in Freeport instead of a day at sea. Is it just too early (it seems to stop in May) or are they eliminating Freeport? Anyone with 2003 ressies-help!

Thanks

I THINK it may just be too early. We're going in September 2003 and were wondering the same thing. When we went two years ago we got a letter a few months before stating that we would stop in Freeport. I just say that there is a 50% chance that we will stop.

When we booked our upcoming September 8th, 4Day Wonder cruise last February, there was no stop at Freeport scheduled. BUT, we then received a letter from DCL I guess in May? saying that the stop in Freeport was added to our cruise. So, I guess it's just too early for them to tell. We cruised last September and had the day at sea which we loved, so I'm sure you will enjoy your cruise either way!

We're going on the Nov3rd Wonder and we booked originally hoping for the day at sea. We've now been informed that we will be stopping in Freeport. Disney renewed it's agreement with Freeport, so they will be stopping there. If you're unsure on a date whether a stop is planned or not, call DCL or have your TA call.

As others have mentioned, it appeared that Freeport was being discontined as of the middle of August this year, but then the contract was renewed and suddenly the Freeport stop was added to many itineraries already purchased.

I, too, had noticed that the Freeport dates are only listed until next Spring... but it's possible that the contract will again be renewed and that subsequent cruises will be converted to Freeport cruises.

My advice... if you want to go to Freeport... count on the calendar on alternating weeks from the last cruise that's marked as a Freeport cruise. Those are the cruises that are likely to be converted to Freeport cruises.

If you don't want to go to Freeport... count the alternate alternating weeks from the last Freeport cruise. Those are the cruises that are likely to remain non-Freeport cruises even if the Freeport contract is renewed.
