Is Dinner at Cinderella's Castle worth 2 meal tix?

We have the DDP and are making reservations for dinner at Cinderella's Castle, which I understand uses up 2 TS meals. Is that worth it or should we just pay cash for that particular meal and save our TS tix for another day?

Thanks,

Michelle

IMO pay for it!

We've not eaten there yet, but I think we're going to pay for it OOP. The more I think about it the less I want to use 2 credits for a 40.00PP meal. :confused3

We did dinner there our last night in March '07, I would say pay cash. It was really nice and magical. I would like to make it a transition for our final night each year but my DD and DH say I am WAY to sentimental. I actually cried a little while we were there. A table next to us had an engagement, it was our final night (10 day vacation, day 8 of full park days), and I cried a little it was so sweet. Of course DD looks at me and says you don't even know those people. It really is worth going there!

I just did the math for our stay and found that it would be best to use the credits. Heres why..
we already have all our ADR'S so I went to the menus (on this board) and checked the prices for all the "buffet type" meals, all our table service rest. with an app & desert would come to more than the cheapest buffet we had. So I figured the price for the two cheapest buffets plus gratuity (Cape May and Ohana Character brksts) and it came to a difference of approx $5 less to pay for Cinderellas ourselves. We decided to use our table credits at Cindy'd because that is the begining of our stay and we want to use before we loose the credits and the two brkfts are at the end so If we miss some of Table Services ressies (14 day stay) we can use them towards the end of our trip for what we thought we would pay OOP.
so for us, credits pay for cindy's. i hope this helps you make your decision
If there is a flaw in this logic, i welcome feedback
:goodvibes

Pay OOP, that is what we are doing. It is simply not worth 2 credits, in my opinion. Now, when we get to use the deluxe DDP next year, yes it will be worth 2 credits to us. :goodvibes

OOP.

If you look at the cost per Table Credit (cut the cost of CRT in half), it is cheaper than any other TS worth eating.

We are going to WDW in 2 weeks and and staying 6 nights and I have ADR's for 8 TS's (CRT is the only 2 Table Credit ADR). Some are buffets (e.g., Boma, Biergarten) and some are character B-fasts (Chef Mickey's, Ohana's). CRT is cheaper than any two of those so we are paying OOP for it.

It also helps that CRT is the last TS we are using. Therefore, if we end up skipping some of our TS's, we can use those credits at CRT.

The 2008 DDP includes the gratuity at CRT but it's still a good meal to consider paying out of pocket.
