Is DeVine still in AK?

I saw "her" on my trip with my DGKs last November and it was awesome. I'm going with DH in October and would love for him to see her too.

We saw her last week. She was right before a bridge going into Asia from Africa. She kinda freaked my kids out for a minute lol, but then they thought she was cool.

Who or what is DeVine?

Devine is a women (I believe it's a women) walking on stilts. Only thing is she is completely done up in branches and leaves. She is made to look like a real live plant. She then poses. When she's standing in the shrubery it can take you by suprise as she blends in really well.

we saw her the 2nd week in June, but by the time we got over to her, there was a bunch of people around her. No way to get any where near her to get any pics, but she really is cool!!!

I saw her once the first time I went to AK, and haven't seen her since. That was four years ago...

We just saw her on June 5th. We also saw her in about the same area between Africa and Asia. I got some good pictures. We were so excited to be able to actually see her after reading about her for so long. I will try to post later. She is so cool.

She is usually between Africa and Asia...... you know that is a good question about the times.. I will try to find out for you...
