When we were there in June/July I asked a couple of CMs about her and they had no idea what I was talking about. Finally, the third person said that she had already gone in - it was mid afternoon at this point and very HOT.
We did see WesPalm at the entrance in the morning. He is the talking palm tree, right? He was really funny. Unfortunately, the kids around him were kicking his planter box and saying rude things. Wes came right back with comments like, "I see you didn't bring your manners today." and "Ow, that wasn't very nice." My DS was shocked at how Wes was being treated and didn't approach him until a security guard shoooed away the fresh children. (Wes thanked him.) Then my son had a little conversation with him about where we came from, DS's Pluto hat, and what we going to do at AK. Too cute!!
All that evening DS was worried about where Wes would sleep, what he eats, who would feed him and such. He was in tears about how Wes had been treated. I finally told him that Wes probably sleeps at Mickey's house and all was fine then.
BTW there is a talking garbage can at MK. We also saw him/her? near the ice cream place when you come from Indy Speedway into Tomorrowland. He was really cute too! He asked my son his name and noticed that he was eating a large and messy ice cream.
They both hear and see everything!!
Oh, I think I just figured out some of WDW security.
