I had thought I had seen this in one of the Disney planning like books-can't remember the name right now. Also, is the menu frozen type Stouffer stuff? I know that the character interaction is suppose to be wonderful but is the food good or so/so. I think our family will like this one as it seems to be more normal fare food but I just was wondering about dessert. I thought it was an all included buffet price. Thanks again:goodvibes

i really liked the food and it didn't seem "frozen". We're going there again and dessert was included (at least 2 years ago it was). It's good! Very "thanksgiving ish"

Desert is included. Last time we were there it was some sort of cherry cobbler if I remember right, actually very good. I think it might have came with vanilla ice cream.

This is character dining though, which is Disney key word for "mediocre to decent food" and you are really paying for the "experience" and the character interaction. That being said, I didn't really think I was eating frozen food there. Probably tasted a little better than that.

It also is not a buffet. Dishes are served family-style with a set menu. Meaning, they bring one bowl or plate of the different offerings to each table for the party to share. Bigger the party the more they bring but they will bring you seconds of anything if you ask for it. It is all-you-can-eat for that price.

I probably would not put it on my list of must-do resteraunts but glad we tried it once. We liked the atmosphere.

I just checked myself on allears.net and the dessert is not included in the price you pay. It is extra. Not sure why this is the case:confused3

Dessert is included I believe. When we went it was apple cobbler with like vanilla bean ice cream- very yummy!

If I read correctly - the cobbler dessert is included in the price you pay. They have additional desserts available and if you want you can order one of them at an additional price. So if you're craving something chocolate instead of cherry - you can have it for a price.

My sister went to the dinner and said it was good. It's like thanksgiving with turkey, ham and roast beef plus a bunch of sides. I guess since it's family style and they only offer one dessert (as opposed to 3 different main meats) they offer you a choice at an extra price.

I have an ADR for LTT when I go in Sept. Last time I went it wasn't character dining. I am going to mostly character / family style meals this trip as I am bringing my son (almost 2 at the time) for the first time and I think these will be the best meals for him. To be honest, after looking at the children's menus, I think he'll have better fare eating at the family style / buffet meals. How much mac & cheese can a 2 yr old eat! I know he can share with me, but unless I order a simple chicken dish at a better restaurant, there's not much for him and I will have to order off children's menu for him.

Yes it is included and just to add that I HATE pies, cobblers basically anything with baked fruit in it and I LOVED THIS..ours was an apple crispy cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream...IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD!!! We love all the food at LTT.:goodvibes

We have been there 3 times before and absolutely LOVE it! Dessert was included and it was cherry cobbler. The food is ridiculously good.

We love LTT! Although it's not a "must-do" we try and hit it on our trips! Every time we've gone it's been the apple cobbler, never had the cherry but hoping to try it sometime!
