If I read correctly - the cobbler dessert is included in the price you pay. They have additional desserts available and if you want you can order one of them at an additional price. So if you're craving something chocolate instead of cherry - you can have it for a price.
My sister went to the dinner and said it was good. It's like thanksgiving with turkey, ham and roast beef plus a bunch of sides. I guess since it's family style and they only offer one dessert (as opposed to 3 different main meats) they offer you a choice at an extra price.
I have an ADR for LTT when I go in Sept. Last time I went it wasn't character dining. I am going to mostly character / family style meals this trip as I am bringing my son (almost 2 at the time) for the first time and I think these will be the best meals for him. To be honest, after looking at the children's menus, I think he'll have better fare eating at the family style / buffet meals. How much mac & cheese can a 2 yr old eat! I know he can share with me, but unless I order a simple chicken dish at a better restaurant, there's not much for him and I will have to order off children's menu for him.
