Is Delta at port?

Just wondering if Delta is at the port to check luggage after the cruise? Thanks for your help.

Yes.

We had late seating and left the ship at 9AM. The line for Delta was huge.....took us 1 hr 45 minutes standing in the heat to get checked in. Delta was using only one of the two counters available.

This was the first time we ever had a problem waiting in line - but then again, being the last off the ship was our decision.

Plan accordingly.

We tried to use Delta last october for an 11:30 flight home. After we stood in line to check our luggage, we were told that the flight time was too close for our luggage to get there, so we drove it to the airport. The porter who was helping us also said the line for Delta is always the longest. I've read that they do not accept luggage for flights prior to 11 am.

We have only had one time that our flight time was past 11AM - that was this past cruise. Other times were 10:50AM and our luggage was accepted.

Although this flight was a Comair and direct - it just wasn't worth the hassle and DH stated, "Nevermore!"
