is Dec 3 - 17 a good time to go?

hi. we usually go in January, and the crowds are lite.
but we might have a chance to go for a week between Dec 3 -17. how are the crowds then?


I know Christmas is the busiest time of the year but I assume that busy time starts closer to Dec 24th?

Since schools are still in session, the crowds will not be at peak levels. They will be busy though. Very busy some days. Keep in mind Candlelight Processional is the weekend of the 6th and 7th so expect more people for that.

We went Dec 1-6 (sun-fri) last year and the crowds were very manageable. We usually go during the summer, so it seemed much less busy. The longest we waited in line was 30 minutes for Peter Pan.

We went the first week of December one year, and it was fine. Not that crowded and decent weather too. It's a good time to go because the Thanksgiving crowd has gone and the Christmas crowd hasn't started yet.

We go every other year Wed - Saturday, after Thanksgiving. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning are usually quiet, getting busier Friday afternoon and very busy Saturday. I still love that time of year! It is a great way to kick off the holiday season!!
