Is CRT worth the $$$?

it is really not worth the money for any meal there but we went for breakfast just to say we ate in the castle but we did not go back for another meal.. was fun glad we did it. but lot of nice places to eat with better food. especially at your girls ages...

Yes, it's totally worth it. We usually eat lunch there & this is our first trip to skip CRT completely. We wanted to try different restaurants this trip, but now that we arrive in just a couple days I am beginning to regret our decision. So you should definitely eat there. I bet your whole family will enjoy it :)

Its "worth it" if you have little kids that are still spellbound by the princesses other wise no, go to a signature resturant with excellent food instead like maybe California Grill and schedual during the fireworks or something.

I know this has probably been asked several times but is Cinderella's Royal Table worth the money?! I was so excited to be able to get a breakfast ADR but it is quite pricey! My girls are 12 and 15 so they are well past the princess phase but they think it would be cool to eat in the castle. Would love to hear opinions now that I plunked down about $250 for breakfast!

Thanks everyone!

This is a question that always gets very mixed answers. The food IMHO is not worth that money, we are not picky eaters but we didn't like the food, food was very bland and not really the quality that you would expect for that price. The experience is worth it totally, not really for the princesses (at least for most teens) but just because you are eating INSIDE THE CASTLE!!! :)

We loved it. Great interaction with the princesses and the food wasn't too bad. Loved the bread! We went for dinner and was actually surprised that the meal and dessert were pretty good.

Is the food worth the money? No way. Is the experience of eating in the castle for the first time worth the money? A very positive YES ;) We will probably never eat there again, but the experience is what you get ressies there for, not the food, because it would never come close to being worth the $$$'s.

Enjoy your meal and you will have good memories from your time there, and no regrets :)

This! Dinner was not great when we there, but the atmosphere and the characters were. :goodvibes

YES!!!
I went for my bday there last year(going again this November ) and it was all so magical! The food is great and the service and Royal attention(the Princesses) was very attentive.
I understand that it can be pricey, but it is the Castle and the princesses come to you, so they are bonuses that are worth it to me.
Hope you and yours enjoy it!

I forgot to add that the only time I ate in the Castle was in '98 for lunch and there were no characters at that time. It was breakfast only. We still loved it.

Food was better than expected at dinner. Service and character interaction was excellent. My niece's 4yo waved that wand, said "bibbiddy, bobbiddy, boo" and was so excited when the stars showed on the walls, she screeched, "It really works!", priceless.

The two times we ate there with our children were lunches and it was still *King Stefan's Banquet Hall* in the 80's and 90's. They were not serving breakfast at all then, just lunch and dinner.

We have a picture of Cinderella kissing our son and him (4 years old) nearly swooning ;)

I'm with the other posters who have said the food is not great. Having said that we didn't think it was worth the money. At all. It's very overhyped but it's one of those you need to experience. If you don't you'll always wonder.

Sorry to jump on OP but I'm just curious if anyone had opinions about the new breakfast menu... Is the food better?

Exactly my feelings.
