I know this has probably been asked several times but is Cinderella's Royal Table worth the money?! I was so excited to be able to get a breakfast ADR but it is quite pricey! My girls are 12 and 15 so they are well past the princess phase but they think it would be cool to eat in the castle. Would love to hear opinions now that I plunked down about $250 for breakfast!

Thanks everyone!

My family ate there for breakfast twice with 3 BOYS and we loved it both times. They are almost grown now but if it weren't so hard to get a ressie I would definitely do it again. The food and service was excellent and the inside of the castle is really neat to see. We still watch the home movies and reminisce over what a good time we had and how good the breakfast was.

I've has breakfast , lunch, and dinner there.
In order of best to least favorite
Dinner
Lunch- close second
Breakfast- least favorite

Is the food worth the money? No way. Is the experience of eating in the castle for the first time worth the money? A very positive YES ;) We will probably never eat there again, but the experience is what you get ressies there for, not the food, because it would never come close to being worth the $$$'s.

Enjoy your meal and you will have good memories from your time there, and no regrets :)

Given your daughter's ages and the fact you state they are way past the princess stage.... no, I do not think it's worth it. If they are interested in going, and you don't mind paying, I say why not. We have been twice with our kids. When I asked if they wanted to go this trip neither wanted to. The food is mediocre (both times we had breakfast) the princesses experience was fun.

I think eating in the Castle is worth it even if it is expensive.

When I was originally planning this trip for me and DH, even he wanted to eat in the Castle. :)

No, I didn't even think that the character interactions were good. Very brief, and nothing personal for our DD. Compared to other restaurants...she got a lot more "time" and more conversation elsewhere... We wouldn't do it again.

We haven't done breakfast there - but we have done lunch and dinner and we definitely feel that the experience is worth the money! The food is ok, but the experience of eating in the castle is amazing!!!! :wizard:

Have not been there for breakfast and while the food at dinner was just ok, I thought it was worth it for the experience of eating in the castle. Even though your DDs are older, I would go just to eat in the castle at least once. Our DSs are older teens and while they are way past the character stage, we still have alot of laughs and good times at the character meals. Granted, we don't do near as many of them as we used to when our boys were younger, but it is nice to throw a few in every once in awhile.

we found the lunch to be a reasonable price for what you got... It was an adventure that we loved... Would we do it again? probably not... Once was enough!!

I'm a grown man who has eaten here since the 1970's. I've seen this place with many differences each decade. The current fun is simply the best.

The value received is pretty good if you gain from your photograph with Cinderella that is presented before you leave.

The food is fine. There are always horror stories from folks who go to large Resorts and Disney is no different. In my opinion, the small menu has increased the quality of food and ability to deliver adequate service. Few waiters = more face time with the Princesses......

The 'Princess Experience' is simply grand for the little girls (and the little girl in you). You pay a small premium for the Experience on top of the adequate food. Money better spent than at Biddi Boutique....because you still have to eat......But a glass of beer or wine at Be Our Guest is a dream come true....

We've been there twice and I couldn't agree more. The food was good (we went to dinner), but not worth the price. The experience however, was very worth it for us. The first time we went it was with our two boys (9 and 6 at the time), and the princesses fawned over them. My then 6 year old received a kiss on the cheek from both Cinderella (before dinner) and from Princess Aurora during dinner, which we have pictures of for future balckmailing opportunities. Two years ago we took our boys and our daughter (then 3) and it was awesome again. The princesses spent real quality time with her and she loved it. I would tell anyone to at least try CRT.

We were there last week with DD3 and DS5 for breakfast. I thought that the food was excellent (DH had the stuffed french toast and I had the steak and eggs), and it was a ton of fun eating inside the castle. I think though that I probably enjoyed it more because I had already paid for it 6 months ago, so that money was already spent. Does that make any sense? Getting a $170 bill for breakfast at the end of our meal might have bummed me out a bit, lol. I thought that the interaction was just okay. We had fantastic interactions with the princesses in the parks and at the meet and greets, so this was def a let down, but we had a wonderful time anyway. We are planning a trip back next year and I plan to do the Akerhaus that time instead, but I bet we will be back for CRT another year.

I agree.. My wife and I ate there our very first trip, since we had NO idea if there would be a 2nd.. (5 or 6 trips later that has been answered). It was fun, it's the CASTLE for goodness sake! You get a nice picture also. Not going to do it everytime, but once I think everyone should do it :)

I'd say 'no way.' The food isn't anything great and you have several opportunities to meet the same characters at multiple places. Seriously, you could get that $250 breakfast at $13 at Sizzler outside the gates.. I know, I know, it's the Castle, blah, blah, blah.. If you have the money to burn and just have to do it once, go ahead and go for it. But if you want to put that money to better use, you really aren't missing anything by not doing CRT..

We took our daughters for breakfast several years ago and they loved it (they were very into the princesses at the time). The stuffed French toast was very good and my husband enjoyed the steak and eggs. It was not a five star restaurant by any means but we went more for the experience. We had an early morning reservation and were able to get some awesome pictures of the girls in front of the castle with no one else in them. They still remember that! We had a table that overlooked the park and it was a really neat view (not sure what it looks like now with the Fantasyland changes). The Character interaction was great, especially The Fairy Godmother and Snow White. We finished eating as the park opened and were able to quickly ride several rides before the park got busy. We are going again in March and the girls wanted to go again but I can't justify the price when we are already paying the higher Easter week prices anyway, so they are going to settle for an early morning Crystal Palace breakfast. They seem to be okay with that as long as we try to get a new picture in front of the castle :).

We took DD there for her last birthday - she was turning 21! Eating there was something we always wanted to do but could not score a reservation until finally we saw an opening and had to try it. We had breakfast and it was pretty good food with really good service from our waitress. All the princesses came by and stopped for pictures. The street I live on is "Briar Rose" and I showed Princess Aurora my drivers license and she got a big kick out of it. We also had a long conversation with Belle about the new Fantasy land, so I think you can have great interactions.

I say keep the reservation, if you cancel you will always wonder what it would have been like. Enjoy!:thumbsup2

We went when DD was 5 and at the height of her princess obsession. A few trips have gone by since and she hasn't ever asked to go back, not even when I suggested it. She asks for other places instead, like Chef Mickey's or CRT. She is also crazy about O'hana's

What did I think of it....STRESSFUL!! I have never felt more rushed or pressured to finish a meal in all my life. While I was turned away from the table to look at the princesses, the waiter took my meal away before I was finished. Total sneak attack. The castle was beautiful and magical. The princess interaction was underwhelming (had better when meeting them elsewhere) and very hurried. The food was okay, but not special (very salty and processed tasting). I was glad we tried it once, but that is all we need.

DH & I had dinner there a year ago & we loved it. It was worth it... once. We wouldn't go back again for just us. It was so nice to have dinner in the castle though. We were in there during the fireworks so that was a nice extra. The food was actually good, too. I wasn't expecting that.

DH and I love going to CRT. There's just something so special about being able to say that you've eaten in the castle.
