Is CRT still pre-pay?

Even though it's not a character meal?

I'm starting to work on my list for my birthday trip and if I decide to go for CRT I want to be prepared if it's pre-pay (since I'll likely have to call as I'm solo and it rarely shows up for 1 now and I don't want to pay for a ghost).

TIA!

It is pre-pay. We have a reservation for next week for four of us...ouch. But I’m also kind of glad that we won’t get that bill after!

It was prepay for NYE . I would get the reservation and then modify it down to one guest. But you will be one very Happy Birthday Guest which sounds perfect to me!

Thanks! If I kept it as 2 but only I showed up, would they just refund the other money (or use some of it towards wine?)?

That was me! Lol (so no one report this as cheating, k?)
This advice was given to me by a cm many years ago. Hope you can dine in the castle for your birthday!

Lol, seems like ethical creativity to me. A little Disney tango.

Thanks all! I'm going to try to have BOG as a back-up (I know there are "better" places outside the parks, but I don't want to deal with changing out of park clothes and into dressier clothes if I can help it. (Though theoretically being at the Poly, Narcoosees could be doable.)

The only time I was going to do CRT (ended up cancelling it) I was on the Dining Plan so it took the 2 credits (gave them back when i cancelled), and it let me find for 1.

So when would you put that the second one was a 2-year-old? When you're paying is that when it asks for age category?

Might be worth it to add a person to your F&F list and set them as 2 year old. This will at least save time while booking.

Was finally able to test this, not sure if you were able to book yet, but when you click the reservation time, you'll get this screen:

Down below My Dining Party is choosing your second guest. If you added the "2 year old" it'll show up here, otherwise, you can select to add:

Quick and painless, just name and age. When you get to the pay screen, it'll show the payment amount is for 1 adult.

Also tried a search for 1 guest and got no tables available, same search with 2 guests and a time is available, so you'll definitely need to put in 2.

Thank you SOOOOO much!!! My date is still a little ways off.

But yeah, I've pretty much just started all my searches for 2 for every ADR - makes it easier. LOL.
