Is CRT not as hard to get now?

I was so nervous becuase we just booked a trip for August and since I was only 120-some days out, I really wanted CRT because we didn't do that on our 1st trip last year. I did not even start park-planning because getting CRT would dictate which park on which day...anyway, when I called I was able to get CRT for our 1st day there. I had my choice of breakfast or lunch. I wanted lunch and even then, I had my choice of several time slots.
Has anyone else found this? I know it is a little off season because we are going 8-28 to 9-3 but I thought with the free dining it would be just as difficult.
Any thoughts? Just wonding because anyone that mentions going to me, I stress how important it is to book that right away. Maybe it is not as crazy now???

It was packed to capacity because it used to be 1 TS credit for DDP guests. Now it's two 2 TS credits and most people feel that it's no longer a good value. Many people are booking 1900 Park Fare or the Princess Luncheon instead since they are only 1 TS.

I think due to the changes in the DDP (which I know nothing about but were mentioned by the previous poster) and the fact that if you are paying OOP for it, you must pay in advance might be discouraging some folks from booking it way in advance. I think it still books up, but maybe not as quickly for those OOP folks!

Most of the general public has not caught on to the fact you can book 180 days out yet.

Folks are still reporting some difficulty booking CRT for breakfast though, which is pretty remarkable given how much they're charging. I had originally thought they raised the price too high, but obviously I was mistaken.

I have heard from people that it is dying down, but I was just there this week and they were turning HOARDS of people away saying that they had nothing for weeks out. So the $$ isn't holding people back!

I called yesterday for a ressie for breakfast the last week of Sept. They were all booked. They did have lunch available though.

I do think it's a bit easier between the price change and the 180 change. I can even tell just by looking around here. You hardly see any thread anymore about "please if you cancel let me know" "do you want to trade?" etc...I haven't see those kinds of thread since last Fall.

Even the "Cindy's encourangement" thread has died down quite a bit.

And I haven't seen any CRT reservations up for auction on eBay recently either.

So would you say it is down from "insanely impossible" to get reservation to just merely "annoyingly difficult"?
