Is CRO being run by the CIA???

I just made a reservation for my inlaws who will be joining us our last few days of our vacation. The CM was pleasant but when I got off the phone with her I realized I wanted to make doubly sure that I could use my AP discount for their room because we are paying for it. I called back and the CM was impatient with me. I said to her "You must not be having a Disney Day" She was speachless for a minute then said "I guess I'm not" and laughed. She said that I could apply an AP code to this room. I can can't I? :D

I just called to make a reservation for JAN 2003 and had the best CM. I asked her if there was anything other than the Disney CLub discount discount available. She said no, but please call back to check later.

I booked the room and then she asked if I wanted to pay a deposit or full. I said full, she said I should only pay a deposit because they can move that to a new reservation if I find a better rate. If I had paid in full they would have had to give a refund and then a new charge.
She didn't have to offer that to me, she had real Disney spirit

I've had some really great CM's at CRO also. Sometimes we'll talk about Disney for an hour! :) It's just the bad apples that spoil the whole barrel. ;) (is that the saying? LOL) :)

I used to be a Corporate Buyer in a previous life and we had a joke with our suppliers who acted like that grumpy CM. We'd just say in our best Tarzan voice: "Me Buyer, You Seller. " Then they'd usually wake up and figure it out. Oh, oops, you might take your business elsewhere... YEP ; )

I've had pretty good CMs at CRO. The best customer servcie I had was from the Central Reservations number for Disneyland. I can understand keeping a history of your reservations, so they know your preferences for future reservations, etc. However, to comment on how many you made, etc., etc, is totally inappropriate. Maybe a few of those folks at CRO need some Social Skills training ; )
