Lilo & Stitch was on the 7/13 cruise....it was listed as the "PremEAR at sea"..The Bears came out the 26th, so my guess its the PreEAR on the ships after that.
If the fates shine upon me, it will be gone by the time we cruise at the end of November. I am hoping & praying DD8 does not want to see this one; from the previews I saw before Lilo & Stitch (which is magnificent), it looks painful....
DW, DD, and myself just saw Country Bears today at home. I thought it was very good. If it is showing on either ship make time to see it. Both adults and children were laughing durring the movie.
I'd never even heard of this film. They certainly didn't promote it as heavily as "Lilo & Stitch". I've now taken a look at its web site (www.disney.com/countrybears). Looks like a harmless and mildly amusing feature. As far as children's features go, this one doesn't look like it'd be that uncomfortable for a parent to sit through.
Since the release date was July 26, I wouldn't have expected it to me on the July 20 Magic, but it should certainly be there now.
DH, DS (15) and DD (7) saw "Country Bears" yesterday and really enjoyed it. DD said she loved it which I expected but DH agreed and said there was also some pretty good music and a lot of unexpected cameos. DS went to make his little sister happy (this was not at the top of my teenager's list) but actually thought it was pretty good.
Just got off the Wonder -- they had "Signs" on Friday night (along with Country Bears, Reign of Fire, Lilo & Stitch, The Rookie, Monsters Inc. and Bad Company).
With Spy Kids 2 probably showing next week, it should be an interesting selection of first-run movies on the boat.
Cinda65-That's why I asked. I thought I remembered the ads for it on television but I couldn't believe that it was a Disney movie! I LOVE those kinds of movies! I tend to forget that Disney does much more than cartoons! I just heard that they are going to make a movie based on the recent story about the miners that were trapped underground for several days.
