Is Coronado Springs too spread out for a 6 year old?

Loving the pics of this resort and thinking of switching ressie from POFQ to CSR, however, one of the most appealing parts of FQ is how small it is. Will we feel "lost" in CSR and will my DS (6) be able to walk it without getting too tired after a day in the parks?

If you ever walk anywhere, CSR should be fine. We loved CSR, but had a DD8 & DS 10 with us. But we didn't find it crazy big. Mind you, we were staying in the Cabanas, and it looked like the Casitas wouldn't be far either. The Ranchos section would be farthest away, but there is a internal shuttle, or you can hop on your closest bus stop and the bus can take you to the main building.

I guess it just depends on what you are used to. We don't walk too much, but it was never too hard wo walk around the resort. CSR is worth it.

We booked CSR and are going with our boys, 7 and 5, in July.

I have been reading that the walk is fine for kids, and, as the poster above said, there is an internal shuttle for times when you need it. If you are really concerned about walking, request Cabana 9B which is the most centrally located. It is not guaranteed though, of course.

Stayed there with my 5 year old nephew and my 7 year old niece and they were both fine. That was their 3rd trip there and they loved it.

The first time I visited CSR my DD was 4 turning 5. We styaed in casita 5. She loved it and still does to this day. She is 12 now.
