Is concierge worth it?

The rate I was quoted for our stay at the GCH in August was an additional $455.00/night for the 4 of us. I guess you see where I am going.

When are you going in August? Unless you have your heart set on GCH, PPH has some good rates more towards the end of the month.

16th-22nd runs $209/nt except for one at $351
23rd-29th runs $209/nt
30th runs $179
31st runs $288

Remember the rates seem to change daily or more often. DLH appears to be mostly sold out for Aug. Hopefully, this will help with your decision.
I have stayed in a DTD view at the GCH but could probably never afford (or justify to myself) the cost of concierge at the GCH. I just checked the calendar for GCH concierge for Aug. and just about dropped my jaw; although, the last 2 weeks of Aug don't seem to bad, comparatively speaking.

16th-29th runs $439/nt except 17th and 18th at $653/nt
30th-31st runs $369/nt
